The Southern Eastern Great Lakes Figure Skating Council is an inter-club council within US Figure Skating, and consists of member clubs in the southern portion of the Eastern Great Lakes Region. Our geographic area includes Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, central and southern Ohio, and Tennessee.

Application for Hosting a SEGL Competition

Grants

SEGL may provide assistance to individuals who are members of SEGL Member Clubs. These grants shall be used by Judges, Referees, Accountants, Music Technicians, Ice Technicians, Announcers, Technical Panel, and other USFSA officials to attend schools or seminars.

The Southern Eastern Great Lakes Skating Council (SEGL) has a grant program to help assist clubs interested in hosting schools and seminars for our figure skaters and volunteers!

Financial Aid

The Southern Eastern Great Lakes Skating Council (SEGL) has a financial aid scholarship to provide financial assistance to a developmental skater who exhibits significant talent and a strong desire but lacks the necessary funds to advance to the next level of training.

Awards

The Southern Eastern Great Lakes Figure Skating Council (SEGL) awards a $400.00 Scholarship to encourage the development of good sportsmanship, strong character, and leadership, as a role model for fellow skaters.
